Children Services

Children Ages birth to age 5 - DDS serves more than 150 children each year through early intervention programs. Programs are devided into two types of services: 1.) Home based services, in which the child receives therapy in their home setting and 2.) center based services, in which the child receive special instruction and therapy while attending the Alley Learning Center Preschool. DDS also provides home consultation services through the Elks Home Service Nurse.

School Age children – Recently DDS has delved into programs for school age children.

DDS Summer Stars Day Camp is offered during the summer to provide children the opportunity to develop social skills.

DDS partnered with Easter Seals to provide recreational activities on a year round basis.

Shooting Stars Boy Scout Troop meets weekly.
