Richard
Home Based Services Program

In the home setting, this program focuses on parent education. Parents are taught appropriate activities and therapy techniques to encourage natural learning throughout the day while in the child’s home environment. Parents work together with Early Intervention Specialists and therapists to help each child achieve maximum potential in five areas of development:

• Communication
• Fine Motor Skills
• Thinking Skills
• Gross Motor Skills
• Social/Emotional Growth

An Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) is developed to address family concerns and to detail appropriate services, education and community resources. Parent support is also provided to further enhance the family’s ability to provide the best early intervention services for their child.
