A letter from Beci
While there are many things I will never understand, I am grateful for the support DDS has provided me and my family during this challenging time.

Julie was born a normal healthy little girl. At 10 weeks old, she experienced a Traumatic Brain Injury. After four months in the hospital, her family needed help adjusting to her physical needs and challenges.

DDS Home Services, (including physical, occupational and speech therapies), taught Julie’s caregivers techniques to strengthen and develop any abilities she retained.

Julie began attending the DDS preschool two years ago. The atmosphere and activity of her classroom friends seems to increase her awareness of her surroundings. Julie is included in activities and she continues to receive therapies both at home and in school.

We have come to realize that each day is a blessing.
