DDS was founded in 1961 as United Cerebral Palsy of Lebanon County, establishing the first developmental classroom for children with disabilities — with just four children enrolled. Today, DDS serves more than 400 children and adults each year through an array of training and education programs, empowering individuals to lead more productive, satisfying, and independent lives.
Each year more than 400 individuals benefit directly from DDS programs and services. As a charitable organization, DDS relies on the kindness and support of its community stakeholders. We are able to fulfill our mission because of the many people who share our concerns for people with disabilities living in our communities.
From early childhood through adulthood, DDS provides personalized programs that build skills, foster independence, and strengthen families.
